Community

Our work extends beyond the projects we complete. Being part of the Holland team means embodying the principles of good corporate citizenship and adopting a servant mindset that focuses on giving back to the communities we serve.

Holland Gives Back

Being part of the Holland team means giving back to the community.

We take pride in being a good corporate citizen. Our team members generously donate their time to volunteer for organizations such as the Boy Scouts, the Belleville CEO program, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Rotary Club, Neighbors for Renewal, MS Society, Adopt-A-Family, and the United Way, as well as with local chambers and various church groups. Team members also participate in annual food drives, clothing and toy collections, and blood drives.

Holland Employee Charitable Foundation

Community and charitable support has always been a priority for Holland Construction Services.

So in 2015, the Holland Employee Charitable Foundation (HECF) was established with the mission of helping others in the community through donations and volunteering. The HECF is employee-run and driven and, among other initiatives, made Holland’s Klondike Klassic Charity Golf Tournament an annual event, with funds raised going towards a local organization voted on annually by the seven member Foundation Advisory Committee. To date the Klondike Klassic has raised over $250,000 for local charities.

Past recipients include Leaps of Love, Fore Honor Foundation, R3 Development, Project Compassion, Jared Burke Foundation, Chakota Therapeutic Riding Center, Fontebella Maternity Home, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern Illinois, Lewis & Clark Council, Boy Scouts of America, Swansea Kingdom, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Special Olympics of Southwestern Illinois, and Swansea Patriots for Melvin Price Park.

The HECF is a 501(C)(3) public charity as a component of the the St. Louis Community Foundation.
