A Better Way – Project Case Study

Caseyville Elementary

Background

The new Caseyville Elementary School is designed to address modern learning needs while accommodating the area’s evolving demographic trends. The 58,824-square-foot facility features a two-story classroom wing with 30 rooms, along with stairs, an elevator, administrative offices, a multi-purpose room, a hardened storm shelter, a kitchen, and a stand-alone library building. The new school and the separate Caseyville Public Library were constructed next to the former elementary school site, which was cleared to make way for parking and green space. This collaboration between the school district and the library district has resulted in upgraded, state-of-the-art facilities for both communities.
